Questions

Are we actually locked in the room?

No. While the room may have locks on some doors, the door you use to enter the room  will always be an unlocked exit at all times. Should you leave the room for any reason, however, you will not be permitted to re-enter.

I'm running late. Can I still join my group? What is your cancellation policy?

We run on a very tight schedule, and cannot admit anyone once their experience has started.  As each time slot is a private room, restricting others from joining you, any last minute cancellation are detrimental to our schedule.  As a result, all ticket sales are final and no refunds will be granted to late-comers or cancellations*.

* What if I'm sick?

We want to keep you and your guests safe, as well as our employees.  If you are feeling sick, please do not attend.  We can offer you a credit for a future booking, but we will still run the game for the rest of your party.  We do reserve the right to restrict entry to any customers displaying any symptoms.

Is there an age limit to participate?

Our rooms are open to all ages 6 years and above.  However, because of the difficulty and complexity of the puzzles, we recommend ages 10+.

CHILD POLICY: Rooms that include children aged 6-14 will require ONE PAID ADULT for every 3 children.  Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate anyone under the age of 6.

Guests under the age of 18 must arrive with a completed waiver signed by their parent or guardian before being allowed in the room.

Are your room escapes dangerous?

There is nothing dangerous about our room escapes, as long as you use some common sense and follow directions.

How many people can participate in a room?

Each of our rooms have varying capacities, with the largest room have a maximum capacity of 10 participants.

For larger groups, you may divide into multiple teams and all play during the same time. Please Contact Us and we can arrange for your rooms to be scheduled simultaneously.

If you have fewer than the minimum participants required for a room and wish to experience one of our 60-minute rooms, please give us a call at 708-943-7227 and we will do our best to accommodate you. Depending on your experience level, we may be able to waive room minimums on a case-by-case basis.

What time should I arrive? How long does the whole experience take?

Please arrive promptly for your scheduled time slot. The door will be locked when you arrived, and you will be allowed in once everyone has arrived or you are ready to begin your game.  (You can use this time to sign your waivers on your personal phone.)  Once you enter the building, you will immediately be briefed on rules and regulations before you enter your escape room. At 15 minutes past your scheduled time, your timer will begin with or without all your guests.

For one hour rooms, participants will be given a maximum game time of sixty minutes to complete the experience. After the one hour has elapsed, there may be a brief overview of the game. In all, your time with us may take about 75-90 minutes.

Can we extend our time if we haven't completed our objective?

Unfortunately you cannot extend beyond sixty minutes for our one hour rooms because we may have other groups scheduled after yours. We need to ensure that we have time to clean and reset the room so we can be prepared for the next scheduled group.

Do you require masks or gloves to be worn?

You must be wearing a mask the whole time you are in the building.  Gloves are optional.  Both may be available onsite for a nominal fee.

Can I book my own private room?

Yes! All our rooms are PRIVATE. You will NOT be joined by any strangers in your room, unless you bring them yourselves.

What is your policy for food and beverages?

All food and drinks are prohibited from being brought into the actual room. If possible, discard any of these items before entering the building.  Please note, we have the right to refuse anyone who appears to be intoxicated and absolutely no refunds will be issued.

Where can I park my car?

There is metered street parking on Madison St and nearby side streets. The cost is $1/hr (free on Sundays) with no maximum time limit.

Are cell phones and electronics allowed in the room?

All electronic devices must be powered off. Taking photos, videos, or any other electronic recordings are strictly prohibited as we’d like to prevent any spoilers for our future guests. We reserve the right to confiscate any electronic devices should they be used within the room.  These devices will be returned at the end of your session. Failure to comply will result in immediate termination and ejection from the game and no refunds will be given.

What should I wear?

Since a room can fit many people, the room might get a bit warm. We recommend wearing light comfortable clothing. Also, you may want to consider wearing sensible shoes, as you may be standing for the duration of the event.

Can you accommodate walk-ins?

Advance reservations are highly recommended. The front door to the building will be locked upon entry, and our employees will open that door within a few minutes of your game time. The best way to ensure availability is to book online ahead of time.
